Dental Extraction
A dental extraction refers to the procedure of the removal of a tooth from the mouth. A tooth may require extraction for a number of reasons. A decayed tooth that is impossible to restore is the most common reason for extraction. Very often, extraction of teeth is also required for orthodontic treatment. All our dental extractions are performed in a hygienic, infection-free area using sterilized tools.
Third Molar Surgery
Wisdom teeth are the last teeth to erupt within the mouth. They do not usually align properly. It sometimes becomes necessary to extract them if they grow sideways or partially emerge from the gum or when they remain trapped beneath the gum and bone. Impacted teeth can take many positions in the bone as they attempt to find a pathway that will allow them to erupt successfully. These poorly positioned impacted teeth are likely to prove problematic. When they erupt partially, the opening around the tooth allows bacteria to grow and causes an infection. The pressure from the erupting wisdom tooth may move other teeth and disrupt the natural alignment of teeth. Tumors or cysts can occur around the impacted wisdom tooth. It becomes essential to extract these teeth as early as possible.

Dental X-rays[digital x-ray]
Very often, Dental X-Rays are required to understand the teeth, bones, and underlying tissues. They help identify problems with the teeth, mouth, and jaw. Dental X-Rays can reveal cavities, unseen dental structures and display bone loss that is invisible to the naked eye.
Patient Education Softwares
It is very important for a patient to understand the treatment he is undergoing. It helps him feel reassured and relaxed.
OM Dental Clinic believes in educating their patients by using animated pictures and specialized software. This is very helpful in explaining the treatment and procedures to the patients. It shows the patient what area of the mouth is affected and what treatment will be necessary to treat it.
Once the patients understand their condition and the prescribed treatment, they are better prepared to undergo it.
